Our press team is here to help journalists, influencers and researchers speak to, and hear from, the UK games industry.
The Association for United Kingdom Interactive Entertainment or Ukie (pronounced YOU-KEY) is a trade body that aims to support, grow and promote the whole of the UK’s games and interactive entertainment industry.
We represent over 500+ businesses across the UK who play a key role in supporting our thriving games ecosystem, including companies who make games, technical service providers, administrative support and game adjacent charities.
Ukie also runs wide range of industry initiatives including parental advice site www.askaboutgames.com, the Digital Schoolhouse education scheme and Ukie Students.
Ukie speaks publicly on behalf of its members across the UK video games industry. We are able to provide commentary on a range of industry wide stories including the cultural impact of games, the economic impact and business of games, the position of games within the political and regulatory landscape, the business of games and wider conversations on developments within the sector.
We are unable to comment about stories related to a single specific game or a specific member of Ukie. But we are always happy to take media enquiries.
Ukie runs Ukiepedia; a regularly updated wiki featuring information about the UK industry including:
